the blades blocked Ryu's attack, and once again surrounded him. the area around them starts to fade from black to its normal color and the red lightning eventually starts to fade.

Kizu dodges most of the bala. Almost as soon as she's hit, she snaps out of the daze she was in, returns her zanpaktou to its non released form, lowers her spirit energy and flash steps away from sokyoku hill.
