A Simple Drink

Aloisi paced back and forth outside Cresent Moon finishing up his cigarette before he walked in since, it would be really disrespectful of him to waltz in there smoking. He took one last drag before flicking it in a recent trashcan. Then, he walked into the bar area, not before just eying up the place. Aloisi sat down on a bar stool. Suddenly, his cellphone rang; he was quick to turn it off since he was on a break from his job for at least two days so he wanted some time away from work, hence he came here. "Hey, is anyone here?" he asked since it was pretty empty around the bar area, and waited until someone responded.

Nel yawned while she continued walking down the path as the moon twinkled in the night sky.She could hear voices from restaurants behind her.Nel simply ignored their conversations as she saw a light on inside the bar."They must have some good sake here!"Nel said to herself as she pushed back the curtains and entered with her gaurd up.At first she was shocked to see that the place was quite empty but noticed a person sitting alone at the bar.Nel walked up to the far right of the counter and sat down while waiting patiently for a bartender."So...You come here often?"She asked while keeping her eyes on the glass cups on the other side of the counter.

Shuhei heard someone enter the bar, calling out. Quickly removing himself from the cooking project he was doing, he washed his hands and headed out to the bar, hearing someone else enter as he went. "I'm sorry about that, what can I get for you two?" He leaned forward on the bar, letting his body language come off as warm and friendly.

Aloisi glanced at Nel from the side of his eye, hoping what she said was directed at him "Hmm, I come here on occasions, but not enough to be classified as often" he stated " What about you madam?"

After asking that question he saw Shuhei and let out a small sincere smile "Ahhh don't apologize! It's completely fine. Oh, also if you don't mind may I have some bourbon?"

"I have never been here before!"Nel said while crossing her arms and smiling."I would like some sake and no need to apologize there."Nel replied while closing her eyes and grinning."Actually...do you have any goat milk?"She asked while looking at the bartender.

Shuhei smiled back at his guest, his eyes their usual narrowed slits, but not angry or harsh. "I'm not sure about the goat milk, but we might have some in the kitchen. I'll get the bourbon first and then see if I can find your milk." Quickly sliding a glass over the wood of the bar, he gave the clean glass a final shine before filling it with the drink, carefully placing the very full glass in front of Aloisi. The soul reaper gave a small nod to pardon himself and headed back to the kitchen, checking with his eccentric cook to see if he had any goats milk on a chance. Only half surprised when the man presented it to him, he headed back out to the bar to tell Nel.

"You're in luck, I have a miracle of a man working in my kitchen. Would you like a glass of goats milk or did you want it mixed with something?"

Aloisi nodded right back at Shuhei, in more of a "thank you" way. He grabbed the glass or bourbon gently, took a sip, and placed it down, pulling out some papers, mainly lists of clients, and informants; needing to cross out the ones he's already visited. It wouldn't take him more than five minutes for him to finish. "Excuse me, but do any one of you have a pen I may borrow? I just so happened to lose mine, if that's okay" He asked, directing it at either the teal haired lady, or the bartender.

"The goat milk will be fine!"Nel said while smiling as she reached in her brassiere and throwing out a pen really fast towards the man that sat a few seats down from her."This should work fine since I haven't used it in a while."

The sudden and unexpected pen retrieval had Shuhei shocked, not expecting the woman to reach into her cleavage like that. His face heated and his confidence turned into a flustered dance. Unsure of how to handle what he'd seen, he had to remind himself what he had been doing before he could pour the goat's milk and retreat to compose himself. He felt like he did when Matsumoto teased him. She knew he didn't know how to handle the female body and constantly did things just to see him get flustered. Not right now, she's not trying to make you uncomfortable, you must be professional. Taking a calming breath, he managed to compose himself, but he couldn't help standing closer to Aloisi for protection. He cleared his throat, "just let me know if either of you need anything."

Aloisi kept his composure once he was handed the pen out of Nels brassiere he smiled while taking another sip out of his bourbon, chuckling at Shuhei's reaction to the ordeal "No need to get all red, they're just breasts" he explained, he was really calm about it because being a male escort he saw them a lot, so it didn't bother him. Anyway back on topic, Aloisi looked at the girl and smiled"Thank you very much"then grabbed his paper in one hand, the pen in the other, and started to cross out names.

Nel sighed and took a sip of her goat milk."I must admit these things do get in the way at times...it becomes annoying after awhile."Nel then looked over t the guy behind the counter and smiled back then turned her gaze towards the guy writing down something."You shouldn't be aroused...it's not healthy."Nel explained while licking the goat milk that was dripping off of the sides of the glass cup.

Connor walked into the bar after having just arrived back to Human Wolrd. He was now dressed in some casual wear; A black silk shirt with black jeans as he walked to the bar and ordered himself a glass of Jack and Coke as he waited, he looked around the room as he found a beautiful woman sitting with another person at the far side of the room. He leaned against the barstool as his necklace; a silver chain with a very decorative cross pendant, and a masquerade draped over the cross. He smiled as he laid down the cash and kept waiting as he sighed.

Nel smiled one last time as she took a sip of her drink but then did a quick glance once she saw a person enter the shop."This place is starting to become busy..."She thought while swallowing the drink and sitting it down on the counter."So...who are you?"She asked while not looking at the guy.

As Connor seemed to be waiting for his drink he noticed the woman talking to him. He grinned a bit as he brushed the white hair from his face. "The name is Connor." He said as he stood straight as he came over to the table, not meaning to intrude as he lookedat the absolutely gorgeous woman in front of him. "and what...might I ask is your name?" he said as he grabbed a chair from an empty table nearby and took a seat across from her as he waited on his drink.

Shuhei skillfully prepared the new man's drink, happy his customers were all getting along. He didn't get fights often, but it was irritating, especially when he had a mix of humans and other guests. Internally groaning at the amount of work it took to calm a mixed crowd like that, he slid the drink to the man, smiling warmly.

"My name is Nel."She respond while chuckling at Connor a little bit.She must admit that the man was quite charming but she didn't want to say it in person."What brings you here? I can tell by your spiritual energy that you aren't a human.."Nel assured while taking one last sip from her drink and ordering for another one with vodka in it.

Connor tok a sip of his drink as he read her face. She was thinking something, but years spent here in the Human World has shown that people tend to hide their thoughts very well. "I am just relaxing a bit, doing a bit of traveling, and yourself?" he asks as he hears her order another drink as he smiled and looked back "put it on my tab my good sir" he said with a nod.

"I'm just helping the people from around here.Some places have become unstable in the hunan world and someone needed to go and check them out."Nel said as she looked at the man behind the bar creating the drink."You don't have to buy it for me..."She said while blushing a littleand turning away to avoid direct contact."Just Focus!"She thought.

Connor smiled as he laid the cash out onto the table. He then came back and sat beside her as he saw her blushing a bit "may I?" he asks as he refrences the seat beside you. He heard what she had said about the Human World and sighed, "Well it looks like our missions are not that different." He said with a smile, not yet revealing his mission as he took a drink of his jack and coke. The cool sensation of the liquid sliding down his throat soon turned to fire as the Jack kiscked in with a bite. After the glass parted from his lips he licked them "Nothing like drink when it is mixed right." he says satisfied.

"I'm glad you like it," Shuhei said happily, sliding the drink he'd been making over to the woman. Taking the money the man had given him, he sorted it into the register. The woman's cute reactions to the mans advances made Shuhei smile and he continued to quietly listen to his customers chat.

"Sure no one is stopping you."She said while drinking the cup of goat milk that was mixed with some Sake."Yeah your right!"Nel got up and reached into her brassiere and gave Connor a 5 $ bill."I really appreciate it."She said while bowing down and sitting back into the chair."I hope one day we can be friends someday."

Connor waved the bill away as he sat down. "Do not worry about paying me, I have no real use for this money anyway." He said as he bowed to her as well "It was my pleasure to buy your drinks miss Nel. I believe we are already off to a good start." He said with a laugh as he drank a bit more. He sighed as he leaned back into the seat. "So by any chance would there be a way of contacting you after tonight?" He asked as he reached up and scratched his head as he looked to her.

Nel was startled at first and smilied."Sure...but I do move around a lot..."Nel went in her pocket and gave him her address. "I live in this worl Dx at Urahara's Shop.He is out most of the times but he comes back sometimes."With those words she placed her hand on his thigh."Yeah I guess we are.What about you?"

Connor smiled as he felt her hand on his thigh as he turned to her and smirked a bit. He took the paper as ht grabbed her hand and kissed it as he put his drink down as he finished kissing her hand he looked up and winked. as he let her hand go, he pocketed the adress as he smiled. "I know where his shop is, I am a good customer. I will be just a stone throws distance away anyway." He said as he focused back to the hand on his thigh. "I would say were great friends already, and that we will get along famously." He put his arm around her as he moved a bit closer to her. He picked up his Drink and drank the last bit as he looked up to the bartender and shook his glass as he smiled some more knowing he was listening in.

Nel was blushing and patted the top of his head."Is that so then?Then I guess you don't have to worry hehee."She said as his arm was around her."Could this guy be drunk?Are is he for real?"She questioned herself as a sweat drop went down the side of her forehead.

Connor heard Nel talking to herself as he laughed a bit. "No beautiful...I am not drunk, it is hard to get a shell drunk." He said as he looked to her. "I am a Vizard, not Shinigami nor hollow. But I call no place my home...I try to be a gentleman when possible.:" He said as he waited for another drink as he yawned as his hand around her gently massaged her shoulder and neck.

Nel was blushing and she started to get up."Well uh thanks..."She said as she sat down on a couch that was close to the wall."I can tell that you were a vizard...I am an arrancar, but I left that place a long time ago."Nel started to laugh."I was even the 3rd Espada out of 10."

Connor smiled as he nodded. "that is pretty good, so now you protect humans huh? I am always looking to train the Hollw side of me, perhaps we can work together?" He asked as he turned his chair to her since she was now in a couch. He debated going beside her as he bit his lip.

Nel was happy he had asked that question,"Sure you can,ever since my 3 comrades were killed it has been quite lonely."She said while sighing and pushing her hair back as she looked into Connor's eyes.They were pretty as they glistened in the light that was coming from the bulb.

Connor looked back as he smiled. One of his eyes was scared and gleamed like a ruby as the other was as the sea, light blue and reflected back at her as if he was looking into her soul. He got up and bowed to her as he sat beside her and handed her drink back to her as he waited of his drink refill. "So anything else I should know about you?" He asked as he was getting comfortable.
